Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly, such as:

• account information like your email address, login details, and optional first name
• your questionnaire answers, optional dictation recordings and transcripts, photo-derived meditation context, meditation preferences, saved drafts, favorites, and support messages
• generated meditation content, including scripts, audio files, and related settings
• subscription and entitlement information needed to verify Pro access

We also collect limited technical and operational information, such as:

• playback events, generation events, usage counters, and plan-limit activity
• device, app, and request data needed for security, fraud prevention, and debugging
• purchase and restore status from Apple and RevenueCat, but not your full payment card details

We use your information to:

• create, deliver, store, and let you replay personalized meditations
• operate your account, sign you in, and sync your data across devices
• process subscriptions, restores, and entitlement updates
• enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, monitor costs, and protect the service
• respond to support questions and improve product quality

We work with trusted service providers to operate Zentrd. These may include providers for authentication, database and file storage, AI image analysis, speech transcription, subscription management, AI text generation, text-to-speech generation, hosting, infrastructure, and advertising measurement.

At the time of writing, these providers may include Supabase, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, Meta, Apple, OpenAI, Inworld, Expo, and hosting or infrastructure vendors that help us deliver the service. Advertising measurement providers process the information described in the advertising measurement section below.

When you choose dictation, Zentrd records your voice with microphone permission and sends the recording to our server and OpenAI to turn it into text. You can review and edit that text before continuing. Temporary audio on our server is deleted after processing. A recording may remain in the app's local cache so you can retry a failed transcription; it is removed after success or when you discard it.

We temporarily store transcription results to recover interrupted requests without repeating the paid processing. Results older than 24 hours are cleared during subsequent transcription or suggestion requests. Confirmed answer text follows our usual draft and meditation retention practices.

To suggest relevant answer starters, we may send a limited selection of your earlier answers and saved personalization context to OpenAI. Suggestions are optional; you can always write your own answer.

We use AppsFlyer, Meta and RevenueCat to measure whether advertisements lead to app installs, app opens, free trials and subscriptions, and to understand advertising performance. Measurement data can include app and device information, IP addresses, app-instance and account identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, subscription lifecycle events, and purchase amounts and currency. RevenueCat verifies subscription activity and can send subscription events to AppsFlyer for measurement and forwarding to Meta. Older app versions may send measurement events through the previous Meta SDK integration.

On iOS, we request your permission before accessing the advertising identifier or enabling tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. You can change this permission in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking. If you decline, advertising-ID collection remains disabled. Apple’s aggregate advertising measurement and supported privacy-preserving measurement may still be used. Measurement integrations receive your actual tracking-permission status; they do not change your tracking choice.

Our advertising event integration does not send your meditation content, questionnaire answers, uploaded images, selected meditation topics, email address or phone number to AppsFlyer or Meta. AppsFlyer and Meta describe their processing in their respective AppsFlyer privacy policy and Meta privacy policy.

We keep your information for as long as it is needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

If you delete your account, we aim to delete your account data, profile, meditations, and related user-owned records from our active systems, subject to limited retention for security logs, billing records, backups, or legal obligations.

When you use photo-based meditation creation, the raw photo is intended to be deleted after analysis. We keep the extracted meditation context and readiness metadata needed to generate and support the meditation.

You can access, update, or delete certain information from within the app.

Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights regarding access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent. To make a request, email hello@zentrd.app.
